Case Studies
Sicim Gas Pipeline works at Sullom Voe, Shetland
Nortech Marine won a contract to blast and paint the import lines to Total's Shetland Gas Plant. The work was carried out in very challenging enviromental conditions, starting in November 2011.
Tall Ships Pontoons
Nortech marine is currently blasting and painting large floating pontoons which will be launched for use at the Tall ships event in Lerwick

Welding and Fabrication
Nortech Marine has invested heavily in welding machines that can handle all welding procedures, both in the workshop and mobile engine driven site machines.
Blasting and Painting
Our purpose built blastroom can take any structure up to a size of 15m long x 5m wide x 5m high. A 8000cubic ft per min extractor keeps the air inside the blastroom clear and also protects the environment from any dust escaping.
Waterjet Cutting
Nortech Marine has invested in a 'Flow IFB' abrasive waterjet machine, which is the most "green environmentally friendly" way of cutting Sheet materials.
